The same creative and objective design process that results in award-winning industrial design, is applied to the mechanical design process. Simplicity, elegence, and cost effectiveness in mechanical design are key objectives at Mielke.

Because mechanical design and industrial design are developed concurrently, mechanical design is not constrained by product styling that was completed with little regard for mechanical design. Also, product styling is not compromised by the "nuts and bolts" reality of mechanical design when it occurs after the styling is completed.
